The taxi driver would not take us from the airport to Downtown Denver until he found someone else who would share the taxi with us. We were just fine paying full fare ourselves, but he insisted. So we waited for the taxi driver to go around and ask the other people in line where they were going. Finally, he found a guy who was headed to a building 3 blocks away from our apartment in LODO. Literally maybe a 1-2 minute drive down Wazee.

Once we all got in, the taxi driver told that normally it would cost $75 us to go to downtown from the airport but he would give us a “discount” and charge us both each $60 (so $120 to him). Some discount. We refused and asked him to just do the meter. He refused to do the meter and continued to insist we were getting a spectacular deal. We refused to go without the meter. He then pulled over and refused to go further and we all got out.

We actually did end up sharing a different taxi with the other passenger. That one used the meter and we paid ~$75 in total and then venmoed the split with the other passenger

We got into this cab at the airport, and we should have realized something was wrong when he hid the meter on his phone. After taking us 12 miles, he reproduced the meter near our destination and the charge was $56. We asked for fare information. He just redirected, refused to provide any information. We asked for his information and received the same lies. I checked and this company has similar complaints from BBB. Avoid this company at all costs. If you've been overcharged by them, be sure to report it to the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. Their permit # is 55921

Scammy unethical business. If you take a cab from the airport they will try to charge you $75 per person when it should be $75 for the entire ride.

Driver promptly arrived for our reservation to go to the airport. His minivan was clean and had plenty of room for our luggage. Fortunately he also had good air conditioning as it was very hot outside. Our driver also managed heavy traffic on 225 and got us to the airport in plenty of time. Will definitely use Trans Voyage again!

Our plane arrived late, well after most food places had closed. Nathan, our driver went out of his way to find a place still open so we could get "to go" for our hotel room. I wish the story ended there. I took my wallet out of my purse to go in to pay for the food, returned to the cab, and somehow dropped it on the floor of the cab. Nathan mentioned that we were his last fare, so the wallet would sit in the dark all night long. We had a very early flight the next morning. Enter Ahmed, Nathan's supervisor. When we got to our destination, we found a text message from Ahmed saying they found the wallet and tried to return it to us at the hotel, but we were gone. We asked them to FedEx it, and it arrived the next day and saved our trip! One can always find a ride from the airport, but if you want an honest ride, a worry free ride, then I recommend Trans Voyage Taxi. Did I mention that Nathan was handsome!!!

Driver said the meter runs off his cell phone, but when we got to the hotel he “didn’t have service” to end the meter. So it kept rolling on wait time. Then he insisted the fare would be $55 for a 15 mile trip from the airport. Uber shows the same trip for $35. I didn’t even have that much and the CC payment was also used on his cell. He didn’t apologize once. It was cab 175. Stay away! Use Uber instead. I also called to complain and the guy that answered said he would call back after his “investigation”.

Got a Trans Voyage taxi from the taxi line at the airport, to a downtown zone 1 hotel. The driver ran the meter, which was about $15 more than the flat rate. I had to point out to him that on the window of his taxi is posted the flat fee zones and rates. He didn't apologize or acknowledge his "mistake".

Used Trans Voyage at the cab line at DIA to get home to Castle Pines. They charged $188 dollars for a typical $60 ride. INSANE!!!! They didn't use a meter and instead the driver used an app on his phone to inflate the prices. TOTAL SCAM
