A horrible experience for my home inspection in Sarnia, organized by Rob Iseppi. Did a $275,000 renovation of our small home. Everything was done down to studs and joists. Qualified for well over $4,000 in rebates. The inspections were done, but we were left hanging, there was no follow-up. I called 10 times and they wouldn’t call me back. Never even got credited for the inspections. The guy who answers their phones was sympathetic and nice, but they would not call back.
I was ripped off by them.

I could not recommend AmeriSpec enough (Especially Don!)! We purchased our first home last week, and had only 3 days in our conditional offer to have an inspection done. We submitted a request Tuesday night, and had an appointment through AmeriSpec for Thursday morning. Donald Campbell was incredibly knowledgable and great at communicating everything he was seeing. He walked us through what he was looking at, and why he was looking at it. It was extremely helpful for a first time home buyer with minimal knowledge.

He classified everything he showed us as "minor", "major" and "cosmetic". He looked in every room, in every corner, and under everything. The report he provided included pictures, and was very detailed. I can now take this report to a contractor to address everything identified, which is fantastic.

I walked away from the inspection confident that I knew exactly what I was purchasing, and what my plan of action will be when I take ownership of the house. This was such a great experience from start to finish!

I called three times and no one returned my call. First time I left my information and reason for calling on the answering machine and the last two calls I spoke to a person. The last time I called the lady apologized for no one getting back to me and said she would mark “ urgent” beside my details - but never heard back from them. I have since gone with another company.

First off, I made a call to have an inspection done very last minute due to the time constraints to purchase in this market right now. I spoke with Rob at 2PM on a Sunday and had an appointment scheduled for the next day At 10:00 AM, as offers were being presented on that Tuesday. I couldn’t believe it! I thought I was going to have to make a decision about a property blind ( as many are doing these days) BIG MISTAKE!!!
Don showed up on time, was extremely thorough, personable and professional. he took his time to walk us through the home inspection process and explained everything to us step by step. We left with the information we needed to make an informed decision about the property of interest.

Orion, the inspector, did a great job during my pre-inspection. He was resposive and was able to accommodate unforseen circumstances which caused me to delay the inspection date.
