Lauwarme, matschige Pommes, ohnen ein Hauch von Gewürz, weniger Käse als ich zul probieren aus der Pakung nehme, und der Salat sieht eher nach Deko aus, als Teil vom Gericht, von Mayo keine Spur.

Over the years I spent months in India, preferrably riding the Royal Enfield through the whole country, even through Northeast India. Besides the language also the Dal Makhni (or however you spell it) changed throughout my journeys.
After being disappointed by the german ripoffs of that most delicious dish I found it'd be time for another "try" and boy was I blown away. This is authentic for christ's sakes! The garlic butter naan unmistakingly comes from a genuine tandoor and if you ask, you get your meal hot. Not just german hot. I mean Indian hot! The atmosphere isn't Indian in any way, it's the pseudo roughed up "I don't care" style of the whole gen-z-ridden vicinity, but what gives? When you get authentic Indian food, you don't ask for atmospheric lights. They even have some Indians amongst the staff 😉 My buddy had a butter chicken and although he never had any authentic Indian food before, he was quite happy. He choked on my chillie, of course XD
This is the biggest food recommendation I ever gave. Enjoy!
And have a Kingfisher with it. Yes, they sell Kingfisher. It's unbelievable.
One small thing though... it's important to have the dal and the naan edible at the same time. Otherwise you will wait for the dal while the naan get's cold. A detail, that lets me sit with annoyingly burned gums right now.

This is going to be my new favorite lunch spot in the neighborhood. Food is delicious and flavorful. I can only speak for the Baignan Bartha (fire roasted eggplant that is extremely tender and silky).
I did not taste any spice (German palate friendly) so I guess one has to ask if you want a certain level of spice.
Will definitely be back for more.

There is some reviewer here who claims that their chicken is ‘chlorinated’. I would call that slander and not a review. Chlorinated chicken has been banned in the EU since 1997.

Come to this place and try a dish you have never heard of. That’s the best way to discover and appreciate food.

Wir sind eher durch Zufall am Chili-s vorbeigekommen. Als wir in die alte Industriehalle gekommen sind, lag schon ein köstlicher Geruch in der Luft. Eigentlich wollten wir nur einkaufen, haben dann aber Mal die Speisekarte vom Chili&s durchgestöbern und sind noch zum Essen geblieben. Da ich bisher noch die indisch essen war, da ich Curry überhaupt nicht mag, es aber ein paar Gerichte ohne Curry gab, haben wir es Mal probiert. Wir haben uns Pushkar Pommes, Gobhi Masala und Mango-Lassi bestellt. Uns beiden hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und uns hat auch die Atmosphäre sehr gut gefallen. Meine Pommes waren vom Geschmack sehr lecker, aber am besten war das Salsa. Richtig schön frisch, gut gewürzt und einfach nur lecker. Das Gobhi Masala war auch sehr lecker, der Reis genau richtig und das Gemüse noch schön knackig! 👍Ja es war um die Jahreszeit etwas frisch aber wir haben weder gefroren noch ist das Essen schnell kalt geworden. Die Leute im Chili-s waren auch super gut drauf und sehr freundlich. War definitiv nicht unser letzter Besuch und ich als NICHT-Curry-Fan werde mich mal durch die Karte durchprobieren. 😀

Das Essen kam frisch zubereitet, schön warm und perfekt gewürzt an unser Tisch. Das Naan mit Knoblauch war unfassbar gut und frisch und das kahari paneer war bisher das beste indische Gericht was ich in Leipzig gegessen habe. Auch das Beilagensalat war anders als bei anderen Restaurants. Kein lieblos geschnittenes ungewürztes Stück Tomate und Gurke, sondern ein schön knackiger gewürzter Salat mit Rucola. Absolut zu empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder 🙂

Jeder, der öfters Indisch isst, weiß, dass das Essen eine gewisse "Magie" braucht - hier findet man sie.

Nice place to try Indian snacks and food. It feels a little chilly 🥶 to eat there in the winter season, but I’m sure it’s better to sit there and eat spicy curries in the summer. The staff is very friendly and didn’t take so much time to prepare the food. I like the food. If you are looking for Pakoras, spicy curries and naan then this is the right place.

Essen kam super heiß geliefert - Top. Naan Brot mit Käse war sehr gut, die Hauptspeisen jedoch nicht. Zu wenig Würze, Fleisch hatte eine seltsame Konsistenz. Was in einem Essen für 17,90€ jedoch gar nicht geht ist Gemüse aus der Dose !
