Words can not express the feeling of thankfulness. My mothers funeral was beyond amazing. People are still talking about it and asking for the information for the funeral home. I will always use this funeral home services. The best part was, the hands on and professional service from Danny and his entire team. It was kind of unbelievable to level of high qualify service. I do not like or attend many funerals. This was hard for me but very easy with Compassion and Serenity. Let me also say this! We had to switch my mother from another funeral home due to the lack of service we deserved. Compassion and Serenity was recommended and they jumped right in. They handled everything for us! We were a complete wreck and was treated with respect , care and concern. Ms. Queda , Thank you for being so amazing from beginning to end. I am truly grateful. Today I can smile because my mother truly was honored like a queen! A memory of a lifetime was her getting CROWNED! From the bottom of my heart I send a heartfelt and sincere thank you with tears in my eyes to this wonderful company!

From start to finish they were gracious, understanding, sympathetic and followed through on everything they said they would. A family owned business, and they made US feel like family! It was a pleasure dealing with these professional and positive people. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and makes the grieving situation much easier to handle. The highest compliment I could give is that my mom would have been so pleased!

April was my first time ever planning a funeral and Compassion and Serenity allowed me to sit back and let them handle business. They offered the best prices accompanied with the best work. We didn't get what we paid for, we got so much more. And my grandfather, he looked so good. We were nervous because he was in bad shape at his time of death but they shocked us all. They are very knowledgeable and take pride in their work. My grandma kept saying how nice the service was and that I did a good job but I could not take nearly all the credit. I don't want to have to plan another funeral but if I do, I will definitely call them. Thank you to all the staff at Compassion and Serenity Funeral Home. Compassion and Serenity funeral home comes highly recommended by me. I was devastated when I had to bury my 19 year old son. From the time my family and I walked in the door Dani and Wes made us feel so welcomed and assured us that everything would be ok. They were very patient and empathetic. My grandmother and I had lots of questions and they answered every question.
Wes explained to us that his specialty is ensuring that a natural look is maintained as much as possible, and he over exceeded our expectations, my son looked so handsome.
Dani told me to relax, and let him do his part. Well he absolutely did his part. This consisted of praise dancers BEAUTIFUL, crowning BEAUTIFUL, doves BEAUTIFUL! All spiritual parts of the service were amazing.
This is a black owned family business that really gives their all. I am so pleased with their service, professionalism and the way they treated my family.
I am so grateful for them and they truly live up to their name Compassion & Serenity.

I was referred to Serenity and Compassion Funeral Home. When I say I did not know what to expect, I didn’t. However, I feel that Dani and his staff exceeded my expectations! The moment I walked in, he made me feel at ease. He made me feel that my son was going to be taken care of, and he WAS!! He allowed me to rest assured and they worked to make sure my baby homegoing was classy, fabulous, amazing and flawless! Oh! And the presentation of the crown to my son just topped it off!! Dani even went above and held my hand and walked with me from leaving the church, to walking to my son’s final resting place. I am truly grateful of the support and services that was provided. This was the first time I’ve ever been in a funeral home to make funeral arrangements. I was uncertain and extremely uneasy, but the compassion and support and love I received was phenomenal and I’m forever grateful. The planning was so smooth and easy. My husband’s service was beautiful and it honored him and celebrated his life. I was extremely impressed with his motorcycle hearse along with the procession of his friends on their motorcycles (motorcycles was his love). I highly highly recommend their services. The venue, Temple of Praise, was able to accommodate the family, live-streaming, and an environment that welcomed the attendees. The programs captured the very heart of my father in law, demonstrating C&S’s attention to detail and desire to provide a quality product. Every detail from purchasing the right casket to transportation was handled by C&S allowing the family to be at ease. All I can say is I am grateful for their level of excellence.
