Scam!! Beware!! They won’t pick up a puppy, continued making excuses and rescheduling, to ultimately cancel and not refund payment! They are deleting and limiting negative comments on their FB page to only show the “good” ones (probably paid for/fake) DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE SERVICES! They are completely unprofessional and I question if they are just a well positioned scam. They do not show up on time, refuse to communicate, and put animals in unsafe situations. And after you have been delayed for several days - claim that they cannot refund your money. This business should be banned from serving any pets.

0 Stars. No verbal calls/coordination - text messages only with ambiguous info. No route up front prior to payment / contract signing. Missed original requested pickup / delivery. Missed committed delivery dates/targets. 12 hour trip took 48 hours while you routed my 9 week pup from TN to TX then to FL. No van - was a Toyota RAV4 with pup in cage. Pup watched by 8 year old while mom drove. She reportedly slept 3 hours (definitely not in a bunk in a van). Pup traumatized / thin when she did arrive with ribs showing. I will reporting you - with supporting collateral to both the BBB and USDA. Both breeders know to never use your service again. In my opinion, you aren't qualified to deliver pet supplies - let alone 9 week old pups. And I assure you madame - I'm not your ex-husband.

Horrible experience. Provides no proof they are ever on the way and refused to refund me after failing to provide proof they are on route and were tracking to be three days late for pick up, putting animals in unsafe conditions asking them not to be fed 12 hours before pick up then consistently pushing back the time, and just completely unprofessional. You should run from this company.

Terrible communication. They were supposed to pick up dog on Wednesday, texted us Friday saying they were 4 hours away. THEN canceled and kept the MONEY. This “company” is ILLEGETIMATE

Horrible company, unprofessional people that will steal your money. Keep your pets safe and far away from these people. They ripped off my Mom and refuse to communicate with her. Don't trust your pets to these people.

DO NOT USE! They are one of the most unprofessional transportation I’ve ever used. They will lie, never update you (even when you pay extra for communication updates), and will delay your trip unannounced. I had to constantly message for any update and wait hours for them to reply. The ONLY time they reached out was for payment… before the dog was even delivered. I paid the day he was supposed to arrive at 4 pm. The ENTIRE day I asked for an update to make sure this was still accurate. At 5 pm I get a call (finally) from the driver stating they were in South Carolina in bad traffic… so he’s been 8 hours away this whole time. Then I call again at 9:30 for an update only for him to tell me now they are handing off my dog to someone else because there is car problems… still in South Carolina. Nothing I can do at this point. He finally arrived the next day around 3 pm… FILTHY he had 2 piles of poop in his crate and smelled of urine. He also tried to bite my boyfriend who attempted to take him out… this is a very sweet loving dog. Not only that they then told my boyfriend he owed $300. For what? They said he hadn’t paid a balance… which I had and that wasn’t even the amount, so I have no idea what to think except they tried to scam him out of more money. There was ZERO communication. I never even got an apology for their inconvenience it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the headache and stay far far away from them. They only care about money. I asked for a refund of an amount she felt she owed me for the terrible service, after she admitted to being wrong about the poor communication I was refunded a whole $50… thanks

RUN!!! Do not use this transportation company! Save yourself the headache, heartache, and MONEY!!
If I could give 0 stars I would!Summer 2023, we are in the middle of another big move from Maryland to Hawaii due to active duty orders.

About a week before my family flew out to head to Hawaii, we were made aware of a heat embargo and nowhere within a 12-15 hour drive were flying pets due to the heat. We did some research on pet transporter companies and came across Critter Getter Pet Transportation, we chatted back and forth for a few days.

The owner of the company, Aireal, sent over a contract and informed us that she would need more money up front than what she would usually charge because of having to book flights, and we thought that was totally understandable. She provided screen shots of flight costs/itinerary and told us that she could get our dog out to Hawaii for $1800.

Fast forward a few weeks (mid August 2023), we needed some paperwork to be filled out for the health certificate and she was super dodgy and always provided some type of excuse.

We had an appointment for a required health certificate that our dog, Dakota, needed and after several attempts of trying to get in contact with her to make sure we were still on for the flight, she finally responded that "something had come up and she would call me the next day." When we asked her if we should keep the appointment for the following day, (certificate is good for 10 days) she never responded.

After not hearing anything back from her, later that evening I informed her that we were going to have to cancel our plans with her altogether.

Over the last two weeks we have asked for a refund of our money, and it is one excuse after another (if she even responds at all).
She has stated that she can't get reimbursed for the tickets she bought because they were nonrefundable, however she was the one who stated we had to change plans. She has never provided an actual receipt for the tickets purchased.

She claims that we got scared and backed out, but she was the one that had to make the initial change, and then not follow up with any details. This is our family dog, not a purse or something that you can just make last minute arrangements for.

She has told us numerous times that she has to do the math to figure out what she can refund us, but we have yet to receive any type of refund, or any attempt to provide any type of documentation showing where she has made any purchases with the money provided.

I know this is a novel, and thank you for sticking around but I want to let you know that these types of people are out there! And they will prey on you.

$1800 is not the end of the world. And we will eventually be able to make up for this loss. We are now out $1800, plus now we have to pay out of pocket expenses to where there is not a heat embargo. Hotel, rental car, gas, and my plane ticket, and the ticket for Dakota to fly in cargo hold.

Please please please. Be wary of Critter Getter Pet Transportation, and any other company that she owns.
